The PostBot robot for Deutsche Post AG was developed as a semi-autonomous companion to assist the mail carrier. It can transport up to 150Kg payload,
overcome obstacles and orientate itself in a space via various sensors.
Besides Germany, PostBots have also been used in several places in Japan,
including Tokyo.
