The Pioneer series is a design study for Rimowa.
The concept is to develop a series of luggage where the aesthetics are based on the equipment of pioneers and explorers.
The design consciously takes into account the wear and tear that occurs with frequent travel: The aluminium shells of the suitcases will show visible traces over time, yet they will not look worse for it, but more and more like a piece of personal equipment, a testimony to experiences and adventures.
